I think there is a little error in the code where it comes to paths. If you don’t see controls in the visual editor, do the following:

- Deactivate the plugin Scissors v2.9
- visit your site via FTP
- rename the plugin map “scissors-v29″ into “scissors”
- activate the plugin again

This should work for the moment. Soon I’ll have a closer look at the code.

Anton- The wysiwyg controls are just missing from the editors for me too. I got them back by deactivating Scissors, but LOVE Scissors, so would love to have both running.

Can you tell me what is wrong? I’ve tested it with WordPress 3.1 but it seems to work as it did in 3.0.

Conflicting with the visual editor in Wordpress 3.1, any chance we’ll see an update? I can’t live without this plugin!

excellent plugin but I noticed one key issue. If you using the default twentyten theme for example which use the custom “header image” size of 940×198 pixels your plugin seems to automatically create that thumbnail for every image upload to the media gallery.

Thanks a lot! The inability to watermark uploads automatically was the only downside of me upgrading Wordpress from version that supported Flexible Upload! ;D

I’ll keep it in mind It was not my intention to continue developing the plugin. just make it work and share that with the world. I also don’t have plans to upgrade it, but maybe one day I’ll update the code. It also depends on the development of the core functionality. If that gets better, there will be no need for Scissors.

Just found a small bug: the mce editor link is hard coded at line 1410

should read:

$plugins['scissors'] = plugins_url(‘/mce/editor_plugin.js’, __FILE__);

not:

$plugins['scissors'] = plugins_url(‘/scissors/mce/editor_plugin.js’);

Obviously this means it can’t be accessed because you’ve changed the plugin folder name from scissors to scissors-v29
